We used TR to do a total kitchen remodel and installation of floors throughout our home. Our project was pretty extensive and required the installation of a sliding back door out of our existing dining room and removing a wall as well as moving and replacing some windows in the kitchen and installing new AC and electrical panel. Overall we had a great experience during our project. One of the biggest things we wanted in a project team was clear communication, timely and prompt work and excellent craftsmanship. All companies will say that they will clearly communicate, be prompt and have excellent craftsmanship. TR truly delivered on all three of these areas. Communication was great, the team was never late and always showed up with a great attitude. Martin was a true craftsman and never cut corners even if it meant taking a little extra time… he truly treated our home like it was his. I would recommend TR.

Overall, I had a very positive experience with TR Design. When we set out to renovate our kitchen and bathroom we ended up reaching out to a lot of companies. Some companies wouldn't even come out to our house to inspect the project, which is ridiculous. Julio came out to our house and spent an hour with us really understanding what we wanted to do and giving us plenty of good ideas along the way as well. From there we got a few quotes and decided to go with TR for a few reasons. We liked they had an actual design studio we could go into and meet with the designer and project manager. Two, their price seemed fair, they weren't the cheapest but weren't the most expensive either. Three, they were genuinely nice people, they are a smaller family owned business so we could tell they really care about their work versus some large renovation company. Lastly, once we started the project any changes we made last minute went smoothly. We had to make some minor tweaks here and there due to unforeseen challenges but they were flexible and worked with us. We would definitely recommend them to any family member or friend!

We met with multiple contractors for our kitchen, and from the start TR was responsive and genuinely seemed interested in the project. Our choice was easy. They offered great design advice and were very transparent about all of the costs and billing. We wanted to keep our existing cabinets and flooring, and they did a tremendous job of protecting/preserving everything during demolition and took precautions to protect the rest of our house during construction. During the work, we had regular updates on the progress and any issues. The kitchen was finished with even the smallest details of trim and caulking done professionally and thoroughly. We recently had our primary bathroom remodeled from a design that was outdated when the house was built and we are more than pleased with the results. Joanna on the design and Andreas as the project manager enabled us upgrade our space into a space we are thrilled with. Their experience enabled us to anticipate the challenges early to avoid issues downstream making this project much smoother than I ever imagined. They put in wood floors across the entire first floor, added a bench and shelves to the entry way off of our garage, expanded the entry and installed custom built-ins in a bonus room off the kitchen and did a complete overhaul to our fireplace (bumped out the wall, floor to ceiling tile and wood mantle). When I embarked on the journey to find a contractor for a primary bathroom remodel, I decided I wanted to go with a company that did both the construction and the design. I got several quotes. One from a company that was more construction than design, one from a "luxury" company, one from Rebath, and one from TR Design. The luxury one was not even in the same ballpark, so that was a quick elimination. But the other 3 were all pretty close price-wise (yes, even Rebath.) What sold me on TR was the people! Xhulio was the one to come out first and spent double the amount of time with me than the others. He asked all the right questions and made me think about things I hadn't thought of. From there, I got a presentation in their Avon Lake office from Enea, who was very professional (had a powerpoint and everything!) I felt like I'd be in good hands with this company. Once I signed on, I started working with Andreas as my project manager. He was great to work with and communicated with me about everything. I was clear on cost, clear on timing, and was given access to an app which they used to communicate, get materials approvals, etc. The only hiccup on timing was a delay around the holidays, but it wasn't an issue as I didn't want a torn up house at Christmas anyway. Then I got to meet Joanna, the designer! This was the part I was excited about because I didn't want to spend hours making decisions on materials, then second guessing myself. Joanna came to see my house and got an idea of my style outside of the bathroom. Once she had a good idea, she made this process so easy by choosing some options and letting me pick from those. I couldn't be happier with what we chose. Once the work began, Martin was the site leader and was AMAZING! I want to hire him for everything now. He made sure everything was done correctly, corrected things that weren't done properly in my home to begin with, and communicated with me about the little things that came up. The only hiccup during construction was a delay due to some broken tile. But the communication on that came from Andreas who rush ordered new tile and it only set us back 3 days. I'm in customer service and I always say, it's not about the mistake, it's about the recovery. TR handled this issue with me very well. My bathroom turned out amazing and the experience working TR Design was unmatched. You hear about horror stories working with contractors every day. If you're worried about that, hire TR Design and they'll take great care of you.

I was referred to Total Restore by the neighbor that my daughter nannies for. She had mentioned to the neighbor that we needed some work done at our home. The neighbor lady recommended Total Restore. Total Restore had put a bathroom in her basement as well as a bar. She was so impressed with their professionalism, fair pricing, quality of work and cleanliness. I called and talked to Enau. Told him what jobs I needed done. He graciously said that that was not what type of work they usually do. Yet he still tried to help me. He asked the crew at their morning meeting the next day, if they knew of someone to help me. They did not. Enau emailed me the next day with the answer. He was so professional with his correspondence. His concern was evident. I was pleasantly surprised. Even though I did not use Total Restore, I truly feel they were very professional, genuine , and caring. I have since found a handyman to help me with my projects. I am so grateful that Enau was straight up with me. It is a great feeling to know caring companies like this one still exist. From the time the team came out to give me a quote through when my project started the communication was seamless. Enea did a fabulous job walking me through what was needed from me and next steps. This is a great company! From no pressure sales with Enea, to a very professional and experienced work team. You can't find anyone better! Martin and his team tackled my basement mold issue and I soon discovered that they were so polite, caring and a hard working group. All of them worked together so well and efficiently and kept me informed during every step of the project. They were all very punctual, thorough and neat and they never hesitated to answer my many questions as the project progressed. I called Total Restore to get help repairing a possible water damage issue in an area of our dining room. The Total Restore Team was fantastic from start to finish in wasn't exactly a clear cut issue at the start. Communication was fast, responsive, and very professional. They were out within a couple of days to take a look and provide an estimate. They walked me through some options and possibilities once taking a look. Once the work started (which was very quickly) they kept me informed every step of the way, kept the area blocked off and clean as possible. They took care of the leak, cleaned everything up in the wall, and the area looks good as new, matching the rest of the room. Honestly, one of the best home service/repair experiences I've had. Will contact them again for future needs.
